Birmingham’s first cannabis medical centre to open in Edgbaston
The medicinal cannabis clinic in Birmingham is set to open offering treatments for a variety of ailments. Elios Clinic will be on Highfield Road, Edgbaston and is the first of its kind in the region and is being opened to meet the increasing demand for medicinal cannabis related treatments since the plant extract was granted medicinal legality in November 2018.

A new medicinal cannabis clinic has opened in Birmingham. Elios Clinic, based in Highfield Road, Edgbaston, is ready to support patients who may benefit from treatment using cannabidiol found within plants. The clinic claims its products will aid treatment of a variety of ailments. It comes after the plant extract was granted medicinal legality in November 2018. At the end of 2019, there were reportedly less than 250 active medical cannabis users in the UK.
