Sharing Information with Your GP

At Elios Clinics, we believe in transparent communication with your healthcare providers. Therefore, we will share information about your consultation and prescription with your GP, so they know your treatment plan and can provide any necessary support unless you request otherwise.

MDT Process

Medical cannabis is an unlicensed medication, so our MDT must review and approve your prescription. Our team meets weekly to discuss prescriptions, and once your prescription has been approved, we will notify you. This typically takes between 2-5 working days after your consultation

These records help the clinical team assess the medical history and ensure cannabis treatment is appropriate and safe for the patient’s condition. We may

Eligibility assessment form

The Elios Clinics eligibility assessment page outlines the process for accessing medical cannabis treatments. Based on GMC guidance, prescribing of CBMPs should only be considered in specific circumstances. Because of this, Elios

Once the consultation fee is paid, we commence a full eligibility check, which includes contacting your GP and reviewing
